How I Work
I believe that the best therapy is one that can adapt to the person who needs it, because we are all different with unique life experiences. I therefore work from a Pluralistic perspective covering Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) counselling modalities so that I can offer a client-led and holistic approach that is individual to your needs and goals.
By working in an open and respectful way I aim to create a space for you that feels safe and comfortable and where you feel heard and not judged. You will be treated with understanding and respect and together we will build a therapeutic relationship in which we can work on identifying and exploring the issues that are affecting you with the aim of achieving a long-lasting positive impact on your wellbeing. With an empathetic approach I will encourage you to identify what you would like to gain through counselling.

Reviews
I undertake a review every 6-8 sessions to assess progress and explore any difficulties you may still be experiencing that can be explored further in our sessions together.
Choosing the Right Counsellor
Choosing the right Counsellor can feel like a daunting task. Opening up to someone and talking about the things that are troubling you or causing you distress, is not always easy and it’s important you feel comfortable and safe with the person you decide to work with.
As a counsellor, I am bound by a code of ethics and required to have regular supervision. I take great pride in the counselling I deliver and am passionate about helping people in their journey to improving their well-being.
